Fabric Requirements for the Two-Color Quilt Project:
¾ Yard from Dark Fabrics: PRECUT

• Cut 2 strips 6” x WOF
  • Cut into 8 squares 6” x6”. Then cut once diagonally into 16 half square triangles
• Cut 2 strips 1 ¾” x WOF
• Cut 3 strips 2 ¼” x WOF

¾ Yard from Light Fabrics: PRECUT

• Cut 2 strips 6” x WOF
  • Cut into 8 squares 6” x6”. Then cut once diagonally into 16 half square triangles
• Cut 2 strips 1 ¾” x WOF
• Cut 3 strips 2 ¼” x WOF

½ Yard from Dark Fabrics: PRECUT

• Cut 2 strips 6” x WOF

½ Yard from Accent Fabrics – for the Stars/Diamonds

• Cut 6 strips 2 ¼” WOF

 ½ Yard from Dark Fabrics: PRECUT

• Cut 2 strips 6” x WOF
  • Cut into 8 squares 6” x 6”. Then cut once diagonally into 16 half square triangles
• Cut 2 strips 1 ¾” x WOF

½ Yard from Light Fabrics: PRECUT

• Cut 2 strips 6” x WOF
  • Cut into 8 squares 6” x 6”. Then cut once diagonally into 16 half square triangles
• Cut 2 strips 1 ¾” x WOF

¼ Yard from Accent Fabrics #1 – for the Stars/Diamonds ¼ Yard from Accent Fabric #2 - for the stars/Diamonds Please bring:

* A sewing machine in good working order with power cord and foot pedal.  You should be familiar with the operation of your machine prior to class. Be sure you can thread your machine and have several full bobbins. (Also, bring along your machine's instruction manual, 1/4-inch foot and walking foot if you have them)

* Neutral colored thread - 40 or 50 weight, cotton or polyester

* Basic sewing supplies (such as extra needles, bobbins, rotary cutter and blades, pins or wonder clips, thread snips or sharp scissors, seam ripper etc)
