Supplies: (Large Size - 18" wide x 15" high)
Fabric
Sides, Top and Bottom: 2 1/2" x 44" strips (80 Strips)
Binding, Handles (Bows): 1 1/4 yards
Batting
Thin weight batting 45" wide: 6 yards cut into 2 1/4" strips
or you can use precut Bosal on the roll (White Katahdin 2 1/4" x 50 yards) **The Instructor recommends the Bosal on the Roll or using the tin batting and cutting strips at 2 1/4".
Matching Cotton Thread (Use a 50-weight, 2 ply thread)
Foam Insert: Firm Foam Hassock from Bosal Foam and Fiber
Other notions: Sewing machine capable of a zig zag stitch, sewing machine needles (Microtex 90/14 for straight stitching and Jean's 110/18 for zig zag stitching). Scissors, rotary mat, 60mm rotary cutter, ruler, chalk, seam ripper. Milliners needles size 8, heavy thread or pearl cotton and measuring tape.
