I hope everyone is excited for the upcoming Quilt Retreat.  It is sure to be a great time under the leadership of Doreen Hares.  Be ready for 4 days filled with sewing, food, fun and games!

Check in time is 4:00pm Thursday, December 5th

Check Out time is 1:00pm on Sunday, December 8th

Things to bring:  sleeping bag or sheets, pillowcase, towels and personal toiletries, medications, clothes, pj’s, slippers, camera (to record all your fun), charger for cell phone.  Dressing in layers works well.

Sewing supplies:  Sewing machine and all accessories – plug, foot control, extra presser feet, extension cords and surge protectors (some are provided), chair cushion or your own sewing chair, seam ripper ?, brown lunch bag for scraps, ear plugs if you are a light sleeper, water bottle, extra bobbins (already wound saves time), lots of thread in different colors, extra needles, pins, scissors, pin cushion, marking pen, hand needles, rotary cutter, extra blades, cutting mat, rulers, masking tape, heat n bond, batting, pressing sheet, snacks to share and any items in good condition you no longer use for a Chinese auction.  Supplemental lighting is also advised – Ott lights work great. 

We will be bringing 2 irons and big boards to use.

Meals for the 4 days are dinner Thursday night,  breakfast, lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday.  If you have any special dietary requirements please notify Kathy at Finger Lakes Fabrics by Friday November 11th.

DIRECTIONS: When you the the sign for "Casowasco" come all the way down the hill towards the lake. Don't stop at the office, continue thru the parking lot and follow the driveway until you are between the big dining hall on your left and the the triple hexagon building on your right. You can unload your stuff into the hexagon building on the right and then continue back to the parking lot.
