Supplies:
Sewing machine in good working order, free motion foot, foot pedal and power cord.  ***It is important to have a sewing machine and the feet that can do free motion quilting.
Sewing supplies such as pins, needles, scissors
Rotary cutter (if you have a small cutter 28mm)
Teflon ironing sheet
Spray Baste
1/2 yard lightweight fusing (wonderunder 805 is the instructors preferred brand)
Fabric:
Backing fabric 15" x 20"
Thin cotton batting  15" x 20"
Light colored background fabric 15" x 20"  (think a snowy winter day)
1/4 yard dark fabric for tree (Batik Only)
1/4 yard yard medium to light brown gray for trees in the distance  (Batik Only)
Thread:
Light colored thread for quilting the background
Light to medium gray
Light to medium green (think pine trees)
Dark color (think brown or black or purple for the tree in the foreground
Look for variegated threads.  They give the best overall look
Bobbins:
One light gray
One medium gray
One dark gray
