One Block Wonder

This class is in two sessions.

Session 1:  Identifying and cutting your repeats
                 Aligning repeats including difficult fabrics
                 Choosing a ruler and understanding the difference between pointed and blunt tip rulers
                 Deciding what strip widths to cut
                 Cutting you equilateral triangles
Session 2:  Designing with hexagons
                 Integrating stars and cubes
                 Designing around a panel


Fabric:  At least 4-6 yards of fabric.  ***Check to make sure there are 6 repeats.  If you purchase the 6 yards, the extra can be used for borders.  If you are using a panel - you need 6 panels for the blocks and 1 panel for the center

Rotary mat at least 18" x 36", cutter, ruler, flat head pins, safety pins or wonder clips.  For the second class, sewing machine, power cord, foot pedal, piecing foot, thread, scissors and supplies/fabric from first class.

Design Wall - you can use quilt batting taped to a wall.  When I used a panel that was 36" x 44", I needed 72" x 106" of design space.

Note:  Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the class to allow time to set up.  No refunds will be given for cancellations given less than (7) days prior to the class.  If the instructor cancels class, a full refund will be given.
