Tamarack Jacket with Judy Gilchirst


Pattern required:  Tamarack Jacket by Grainline Studio (sold separately)

Suggested Fabrics:  Light to midweight cottons, linens, chambrays, and blends.  Since the fabric will be doubled and quilted to a batting avoid anything to heavy as the jacket may become to stiff.

Notions:  Thread, 5 yards of 1/2" wide double fold bias binding (or 1/2 yard extra fabric to make your own, hooks & eyes or heavy duty snaps, 
high quality batting in cotton, wool, bamboo or a blend.  Scissors, snips, marking pencil and pins.

Bring your sewing machine in good working order and walking foot attachment for quilting the jacket.   You should be familiar with the operation of your sewing machine prior to class.

Note:    This class in completed in three parts:

             April 27th   11 - 3pm    Bring fabric for jacket including pieces to be quilted
             May 4th      11 - 3pm    Jacket Assembly
             May 11th    11 - 3pm    Finishing  

Class will begin promptly when stated.  Please arrive 15 minutes prior to class to allow time for set up.

No refunds for cancellations given less that 7 days prior to class.  If the instructor cancels class, a full refund will be given.
